Gällande Saab 9-5 2006-2010 Helljus, så förekommer det två versioner av lamphållaren.
I versionen med ett lite större hål passar dessa lampor utmärkt, men i versionen med det mindre hålet passar de inte utan modifiering av lamphållaren.
Då LED-lampor saknar den resistans som en glödtrådslampa har kommer vissa bilar att ge varning för trasig lampa. I de flesta fall försvinner varningen om ”Lamp Warning Canceller” monteras. Saab 9-3 II och vissa andra bilar med CAN-bus kräver dock ändring i bilens mjukvara för att acceptera LED-lampor.

The LSPRONG set is designed to convert the original yellow halogen light to LED technology lighting. This new release uses the latest generation of the CSP1860 LED chip with innovative design and advanced solutions (including a special ceramic primer). The use of these LEDs allows to obtain up to 150% more light comparing to the first generation. The new design, similar to halogen filament, results in more consistent light, better coupling with reflectors and lenses, and no dark spots or shadows on the street. Precise assembly, using modern SMT machines, guarantees reliability in all driving conditions. The Next Gen version also features a completely redesigned cooling system. The existing ActivAir technology has been replaced by a much more efficient solution named FrontAir, which pushes air through the light stem chamber, significantly improving LEDs lifespan and thus road safety.
Another innovation in LSPRO NEXT GENERATION series is the NTC sensor, which is responsible for regulating the temperature and intensity of the light output, protecting the chip from overheating. The heatsink size was reduced by 25%, achieving a diameter of 30mm.
The set is electromagnetically compatible (EMC & EMI), which means that it doesn't cause interference with other devices, such as car radio. The LSPRO NEXT GENERATION series is also equipped with a starting voltage control system for safe and trouble-free use.
